Book Recommendation

For those of you that enjoy a good read as much as I do, check out “Try Not to Suck.” Co-written by ESPN’s Jesse Rogers and veteran sports reporter Bill Chastain, it covers much of former Angels, Rays and Cubs Manager Joe Maddon’s personal and professional life, including his managerial style and creative spring training ideas, leading up to the Chicago Cubs to their first World Series victory in 108 years. Once you start, it’s hard to stop.

For those of you that enjoy learning more about former presidents, Check out “Theodore Roosevelt,” on the History Channel.  It’s a two-part series that covers the life of one of America’s most famous political figures, from early childhood through his post presidency years.  I suggest setting aside some time to watch it this weekend.
