Playoff Baseball

Congratulations to the Chicago White Sox on capturing their first division title since 2008, with a 7 to 2 win over Cleveland.  This year is even more special as it marks the first time in team history that the team has qualified for the playoffs in consecutive seasons.  Baseball fans throughout the area have more games to look forward to, as the leaves turn brown in October.

For those of you that enjoy movies like I do, check out “News of the World,” currently on HBO.  Starring Tom Hanks, it’s a story of a man that travels the nation to read newspapers aloud to a paying audience during the late 1860’s, who discovers a lost child on the road to his next appointment.  They do encounter many challenges and hardships on their journey together, which makes for a very good plot.  This is recommended viewing this weekend.
