Video Recommendation

For those of you that have an interest in presidential history like I do, check out the documentary, “Obama: In Pursuit of a More Perfect Union, on HBO.  Spanning 3 parts over 6 hours, it goes into great detail regarding the President’s life, start with his childhood, early adult years, coming to Chicago, meeting Michelle and all the way through his two terms in office.  If you can set aside the time to watch this weekend, I highly recommend it.

National Pastime Success Story

Congratulations to MLB on the success of their Field of Dreams event, played Thursday night in Dyersville, Iowa.  Based on the critically acclaimed movie starring Kevin Costner, the Chicago White Sox earned an exciting victory over the New York Yankees by a score of 9 to 8 at the Field of Dreams baseball game in Dyersville, Iowa.  Shortstop Tim Anderson hit a two-run homer in the 9^th inning to win the game in dramatic fashion.  According to Fox Sports, it was the most watched baseball game since 2005.

Building it Right.

Congratulations to the Chicago Bulls for having an outstanding offseason.  By acquiring such players as DeMar DeRozan, Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso and Ayo Dosunmu to go along with Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic, the team is well on its way to having a very exciting basketball season in the Windy City.
