Customer Service – Taking a Risk

As you know, I truly value best in class service.  To that end, I appreciate the effort of Chicago Bears GM Ryan Pace in acquiring University of North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky.  Pace made a trade with the San Francisco 49ers, giving up multiple draft picks to move up one spot in the draft to select Trubisky.  In doing so, Pace displayed a willingness to take a chance when many others would have chose a safer route.  It’s too soon to say whether Trubisky will become a top NFL quarterback.  But I admire Ryan Pace for having the courage of his convictions in and selecting a player he thinks will lead the Chicago Bears in the near future.

Customer Service – Building a Champion

Congratulations to the family of former Chicago Bulls Executive Jerry Krause on being selected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.  Krause was the architect of six NBA championships, hiring future Hall of Fame Head Coach Phil Jackson and acquiring top players Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, Toni Kukoc and Dennis Rodman.  It’s an honor much deserved and long overdue.
