As many of you know by now, I’m a firm believer in delivering and receiving best in class customer service.  Along those lines, I suggest you read a column written by author Harry Mark Petrakis entitled “Small gestures teach lessons of thoughtfulness,” in the Saturday edition of the Chicago Sun Times.  In the Opinion section of the paper, Harry shares examples of the type of superior service he received from a number of different businesses and how he recognized their efforts, which in turn developed a stronger bond between customer and service provider.  In a time when you hear a lot about “brand loyalty,” it’s great to see how providing quality products and services can go a long way in building your business and create a happy client.
